The School Street Food Pantry provides food and supplies to currently-enrolled college and trade school students in the Bloomington-Normal, Illinois area who are experiencing food insecurity. The pantry is located inside Normal First United Methodist Church at 211 N. School St., Normal, IL. The church is immediately north of Milner Library which is on the Illinois State University campus.
The pantry is open for distribution from 4-6 p.m. each Friday August-May
Qualifying institutions include but are not limited to Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, Heartland Community College, Lincoln College and Paul Mitchell School.
Food insecurity is the limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe food, or the ability to acquire such food in a socially acceptable manner.

Covid-19 Policy—The School Street Food Pantry is committed to remaining open to serve our student users through the pandemic, as long as it is safe and reasonable to do so. However, we may change our procedures to limit exposure to both our student users and volunteers. When you arrive at the pantry (both inside and outside the pantry and church), please practice good social distancing by standing about 6 ft. from others. Face masks are optional for all student users and volunteers. Thank you for your patience.
